What data exists
Because the App has no registration, the only data associated with you is:
| Data | Where it lives | How to delete |
|---|---|---|
| App settings, selected server, split-tunnel choices | Your device only | Uninstall the app or clear app storage |
| Hashed device ID (HWID) + seconds of free time used | Our backend | Email us — see step 2 |
| Crash reports & stability metrics | Firebase (Google) | Email us; also auto-expires |
| Subscription record | Google Play | Managed by Google — see below |
There is no browsing history, DNS log or traffic record to delete, because we never collect it in the first place.
Step 1 — Delete data stored on your device
- Open Android Settings → Apps → Lunexis VPN.
- Tap Storage & cache → Clear storage to wipe all local preferences, or
- Simply uninstall the app, which removes everything it stored locally.
Step 2 — Delete data stored on our servers
Send an email to support@lunexis.org with:
- Subject:
Data deletion request - Body: your device ID (HWID) as shown in the app — see below.
We need the HWID because it is the only way we can identify which record belongs to you. Without it we cannot locate your data. We will never ask you for a password, payment details or any personal identification.

Finding your device ID (HWID)
- Open Lunexis VPN.
- Go to Settings → About.
- Tap the Device ID field to copy it to your clipboard.
- Paste it into your email to us.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your request, normally within 2 business days.
- The record is erased from our production database, and from backups on their next rotation cycle.
- Deletion is completed no later than 30 days from your request.
- We confirm by email once it's done.
Deleting your record resets your free-tier allowance state. If you continue using the free tier afterwards, a new record will naturally be created the next time you connect.
What we may have to retain
If you have purchased a subscription, records of the transaction are held by Google Play and may be retained by us in anonymised form where required by tax, accounting or fraud-prevention law. This does not include any personal identifiers beyond what Google Play holds.
Third-party data
- Advertising (AdMob): reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads, and withdraw consent via Privacy options in the app.
- Google Play subscription: manage or cancel at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Google's data handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
For the full picture of what we collect and why, read the Privacy Policy.
